As the children learn about Moses they will also see many parallels in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. The prophecy of his birth by Moses states that, ”The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren” (Deut. 18:15). “The lives of Jesus and Moses shared many similarities. Both were delivered from death as infants. Both were prophets. Both performed miracles. Both were leaders. And both were willing to die for the sins of others. Moses offered to die, if necessary, if God would forgive the sins of the people that Moses was leading (see Exodus 32:30-33), although God did not accept his offer. Jesus did die for our sins, so that people could enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” (RBM Ministries workers manual) Support Report We are so thankful for God’s people that are faithfully giving to see this ministry continue. The support level for Van Buren and Berrien Counties is about where it should be. We eagerly anticipate one of our supporting churches replacing the windows in our house. If you, or someone you know, would like to assist in the installation we will notify the churches and anyone else who is interested by email or phone when help is needed. Please contact us soon if you are interested. |
