Here are some thoughts from Cherie.
2 Thess. 3:1a “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified…”
Though the days run swiftly may we not lose our focus on glorifying God through His Word. Then He will glorify Himself by changing lives.
On the first day of VBS this summer God displayed His life giving, life changing power as a girl accepted Jesus as her Savior. Many others have responded to the Lord’s leading in their lives as well. This is what it’s all about.
Please Pray for.. 1) The Power of the Holy Spirit, 2) Changed lives, 3) Energy, 4) Health and 5) Safety on the roads.
We thank the Lord for all of you who partner with us through your prayers, love and giving.
As my health has improved I have been able to go with Dean more often. You all are so kind and caring. Frequently as I get acquainted with new friends they say “You’re the one we were praying for! We never heard how that turned out.”
Forgive me for not letting you know how God has worked. A year ago April I had a Bi-polar manic episode and lost touch with reality. I was in Pine Rest Christian mental facility for 2 ½ weeks while they balanced my medicines.
While there, God’s Word was flowing out of me, even when I didn’t know it. Many wrote down verses and one woman gave her life to the Lord! Things are going well for me. Dr’s orders are to avoid stress, relax and get lots of rest. Kind of hard to do that and keep up with Dean!!
The rest of our family is doing quite well except for 2 things. 1) Aaron’s Drs. are trying to find a treatment for frequent migraines. 2) Joel is still in much pain. If you would like to know more you may access their blog at joelandamylin.wordpress.com . We also have a new grandchild born to Adam and Steena on April 24, GloryAnne Margaret (after our moms).
Thank you once again for your encouraging words, prayers of faith and gifts of love. May God guide and use your for His glory!
