We look back over this past year with thankful hearts.
Thankful for your prayers, Cherie is doing quite well. 7 years ago she was so weak she could barely hold our first grandchildren. Recently she was able to spend a week with our daughter and her husband, Amy & Joel. Amy was recovering from sickness and Cherie was able to carry 23 lb. Cora around the house.
We were able to take a much needed (?) vacation to Florida with our good friends and enjoy some great fellowship as we traveled.
We were able to have a new furnace installed with central air. We are looking forward to summer now even more!
Our church is doing well. We are enjoying the fellowship and teaching of our pastor and his wife, David and Lois Gilbert.
Released Time Bible classes are in full swing, though there have been a few “bumps in the road” in getting them started. The bus is running well, especially now with new brakes as well as better tires on the front wheels.
We also look forward to the new year with excitement and anticipation.
We have another grandchild on the way! That will make 10 grandchildren. We so enjoy our family times. There is much laughter and fun. We are so blessed that our children and grandchildren are choosing to know the Lord and follow Him.
I am hoping to see all of the Released Time Bible classes grow. Many children moved into upper grades this past year so the classes are in a sense “starting over”, though some are already at high levels. The Berrien Springs class was up to 42 students this past week and Gobles had 52. This is an exciting month teaching that Jesus is God’s gift and that we need to accept Him.
This coming summer we will be teaching the VBS series on Joseph, “Discovering God’s Plan for You”. This is the first series that I taught when I started with RBM 27 years ago.
We thank you for your encouragement and support of the ministry of RBM in our area. The financial support for these counties is in the black for now but still needs your prayers each month that expenses can be met. Please pray for wisdom in choosing a new health care plan. May you know the grace and peace that only God can give.
“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Thess. 1:2
